Kiwi PyCon 2024: New Tee Design by Mata revealed :)

A future glimpse of what the conference will be like.

This will be the 12th tee I have got to design for the PyCon conference. This year the conference moves back to Wellington for 2024 and perhaps staying there for the next few years.

This tee design is the third in the new Kiwi PyCon brand design styling, using the conference specific brand patterns as part of the design. Last years tee design represented a great southern migration showing off the journey, sights and wonderful surrounds of Southland. This year we’re back to a more familiar environment, the waterfront city of Wellington.

This years design plays on the python trails, using them to shimmer reflections of the buildings angled in the sky. The angled python trails appear on the 2024 poster design also and tie in with the whole brand design for the 2024 conference. The tee design is going back to the more abstract and interpretational style of design where reflections are often altered reality.

A close up of the printing of the tee. The colours pop off the black tee shirt wonderfully :)

The tee comes in four sizing and styling variants:

Adult Womens

Adult Mens

Youth

Kids

The tee information from the Kiwi PyCon website:

Kiwi PyCon 2024 - like all previous Kiwi PyCons - has a dedicated conference t-shirt.

  • You could buy the t-shirt together with your ticket, and you can buy additional t-shirts if you wish.

  • They will all wait for you at the conference registration desk.

  • T-Shirts ordered on or after 12 August 2024 will have to be shipped to you.

The 2024 Conference is done, and here’s some actual photos from the event. Great to see the tee design shine!
