FontBase - My font manager

Early 2017 and I was frustrated at how my current long running font manager had ballooned in to a costly dated unreliable time wasting slow & verbose program - I went hunting for some alternatives…

I found FontBase as I was hunting, and instantly fell in love with the minimalist functional design that focussed around typography. I downloaded the program and ran in to some issues with my own font management and organisation and raised them with the developer. Being an agile new product that was released I could get in touch directly with Dominik Levitsky of FontBase and discuss the needs I had. This was hugely refreshing and fits my modern model of responsive design where people listen and respond.

Three years down the track and the product has developed, changing to work with operating systems and apps. For me it now runs virtually invisible, smoothly behind the scenes on Windows and Mac OS and is there if I need it to develop a new brand or auto activate when I open a doc. It’s not a verbose labouring giant - the team put speed at the forefront of development.

The user interface has grown and changed as features have been added. The full list of features is up on the website fontba.se/

I highly recommend it, to anybody wanting to get control of their fonts.
